Well today, I got asked to write for azdesertswarm, part of the sbnation blogs.  With my own personal blog, being not even 7 months old, I feel this is a huge accomplishment.  One, it will give my writings the potential to reach so many more people, which mean I’ll have the ability to persuade people to….ok never mind, almost got off on my “take over the world” tangent.  But seriously, this will give me a chance to do something that I love, write about sports/UA sports, and also get to inform others. 

So, even though pretty much all of you don’t give two craps about UA, I hope you will still check out the site from time to time and comment on my work.

What a weekend it was.  On Friday, I got the news that Logan and Cody were coming down for the weekend.  This was easily the best news of the school year, saying now that we are all in college, I barely get to see Cody, let alone Logan, who is way up in bfu.  (if you didn’t get that, its but fucking Utah, get it?)  They got in around 3 and we kinda started the festivities a tad too early.  That festivities were was succeeded by a two hour nap.  In the words of Mr. Ulm, we “pre-ejaculated”, lol. But besides all that, it was great just to see my oldest friends.  Yes there may be 2-15 hours between us all, but we all knew where to pick right up from.  To me, thats the true test of friendship.  But as much fun as the weekend was, it was back to business when they left.  Now I’m counting down the weeks (2) until I get to see everyone I care about, minus that guy up bfu haha.  So until then, I wish you all luck in surviving what ever your teachers throw at your pre-spring break.

I don’t understand Lady Gaga, not that anyone else does.  I really think that someone needs to do a mental check-up on her, and make sure that everything is clicking inside her skull.

This past weekend I went up to stay with my friend Cody and his roommate Chris at ASU’s downtown campus.  To be blunt, it was a flipping awesome weekend.  Friday night a group of us went to Devilpalooza which was an outdoor concert which had Maine, Fun., and Motion City Soundtrack, along with others that we weren’t there to listen to. We also met up with another group of ex-Ironwood grads and got food afterwards.  Then, I got to experience the ASU party life with Cody, Chris, Brian and Adra, at a small house party.  Oh, and it should be mentioned that I experienced riding the light rail at 2 30 in the morning…now that was interesting.  Now Saturday, Chris and I headed over to the BOB (i will never call it chase field) for the Dbacks fun fest, only to realize that it was mostly geared to small kids, or very rich people.  But on the way back, Chris had the desire to venture into a cheer leadingcompetition in the convention center.  But we realized they were charging for tickets so we left, saying we are broke college kids.  That night of Cody’s friends Cale, Haley, and Ashton came over along with Lexi, Brian and Adra to Cody’s room and we hung out there for the night.  Then Sunday was game day.  Now not to bore you with facts, Arizona won 67-52, but the game was such a blast. Having a huge group of my friends/other UA people in one group made for a raucous crowd.  After that, a quick and easy ride back to Tucson ensued.  But this past weekend was so fun.  It was great hanging out with people that have common interests…not like my present roommate who is the complete opposite of me, which really pisses me off.  But regardless of that, it was great to see old friends, and meet new ones, as well as see my team beat its rival.  Hope you all had a great weekend and hope this upcoming one is great as well.
